It’s April 2026, and I’ve been working my way through my reading goals. This year, my goal is to read twenty-four books, about two per month, and so far, I’m at eight books.
Any books you see me post, I recommend, if that’s the genre you’re into of course. I don’t read books I don’t like. If I start something and it’s boring, I’m done. No forcing it. Sometimes I come back to a book later, and when I do, it hits differently. I’ve learned to trust that. That’s my sign that maybe I just wasn’t ready for the information that book held yet.
Reading personal for me. It’s about timing, alignment, growth, and being honest about what resonates.
I love a good thriller, memoir, or informational text that speaks to where I am in life and where I’m going and need to learn. I’m a constant learner. Always evolving.
So here are the eight books I’ve read so far this year.
📖 What I’ve Read So Far

The Voice in My Head Is God by 2 Chainz: A unique, reflective read that blends mindset, spirituality, and personal insight. Different, but thought provoking.
Write for Life by Julia Cameron: A must read for writers. It pushed me to think differently about consistency and my creative process.
Dear Debbie by Freida McFadden: Whew. Dark, twisty, and keeps you guessing until the very end.
The Intruder by Freida McFadden: Suspenseful and fast paced. You think you know what’s happening… you don’t.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz: A groundin yet perspective shifting read. Simple principles, but powerful when you actually apply them.
Never Lie by Freida McFadden: This one?? Twists on twists. Had me side-eyeing EVERY character.
Million-Dollar Habits by Rachel Rodgers: Exactly the kind of mindset and wealth building energy you need, if that’s what you’re into. I enjoy all of her books on building a millionaire mindset and subsequent lifestyle.
The Teacher by Freida McFadden: Messy, dramatic, and addictive. The kind of book you finish in a day because you need answers.
✨ Final Thoughts
This list really reflects me: my love for a good psychological twist, my commitment to growth, and my desire to keep learning and evolving in every season of my life.
If you’re into thrillers, self-development, or books that make you think a little deeper, you’ll probably enjoy a lot of what I’m reading.
And if you’ve read any of these… let’s talk!
