Happy May 1!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog outside of my birthday post.
Everything going on in the world had me re-evaluating and re-planning things as I’m sure it has for you, too.
To get back in the swing of posting, I’ve decided that one of my May goals is to post on the blog for thirty-one days straight. There isn’t an official challenge. I searched for and created some topics for May that speak for my brand and me as a person, overall.
May’s post begins with me checking in and posting a few recent pictures. The pictures in the title were taken about a week ago on Snapchat. I’ve changed my hair since then; I’ll share later lol 🙂
Since we’ve been in quarantine here in Maryland, I’ve been spending time with my family playing games, talking, laughing, and getting on each other’s nerves. I’m working from home while helping and teaching my son as he works through distance learning. I read and wrote a lot in March, slacked off some in April. I’ve enjoyed connecting with family and friends via online platforms and can’t wait until we can get together for laughs and celebrations in person. More recently, I’ve joined Eric Thomas’ Refocus Challenge. It’s been life-changing, and we’re only five days in.
An event I was looking forward to participating in later this year has been postponed due to the current state of the world, but a few more opportunities have popped up, and I can’t wait to share when the time is right.
There are no guidelines for what we should or shouldn’t be doing during this time; if you’re ready to work on your goals-do it. If your goal is to stay sane and not begin anything, that’s fine, too.
