Blogtober-Day 27
Each Sunday in the month has been reserved for my reflections on the 31 Day Bible Plan I mentioned in my October Goals post-Believe.
I have continued to stay on track by reading the devotional and accompanying scriptures daily.
Check out week one, week two, week three of my Sunday reflections for the month.
Each devotional begins with a question about faith and believing, and the author goes on to answer each question by using scripture and life examples.
Three key ideas stood out for me this week:
1. I am committed to loving God and loving others.
2. Despite my circumstances, I feel inner contentment and understand my purpose in life.
3. I am slow to anger and endure patiently under the unavoidable pressures of life.
This week’s key ideas helped me reflect on different areas of my life. Through my reflection I am reminded to loving and caring for others. I am reminded to choose peace, love, and patience especially when it’s hard. And let me tell you, this week stretched me to call on God for peace, love, and patience.
Directly from the Believe Bible plan:
Stress can come from many different factors today. We can worry and fret because we feel we’re not in control. Joy is an ongoing reminder that God is in control — that he is in charge of the outcome. Joy comes from trusting the controller of all things. – Pastor Randy Frazee
Through life’s trials and joy I know there is a lesson and a purpose God is teaching me.
Happy Sunday and thanks for joining me for day 27 of Blogtober.
