Blogtober-Day 20
Each Sunday in the month has been reserved for my reflections on the 31 Day Bible Plan I mentioned in my October Goals post-Believe.
I have continued to stay on track by reading the devotional and accompanying scriptures daily.
Check out week one and week two of my Sunday reflections so far.
Each devotional begins with a question about faith and believing, and the author goes on to answer each question by using scripture and life examples.
Two key ideas stood out for me this week:
- I focus on God and his priorities for my life.
- I dedicate my life to God’s purpose.
The key ideas for this week all centered around purpose through and for God. The key concepts I’ve pointed out sums up my studying and interpretation for the week.
I’ve discovered it is my responsibility to seek and develop God’s gift and to find how each one fits into the world He wants me to reach. The gifts God has instilled in me are intended to make the world a better place. It can be challenging to discover these gifts on your own, but think back to when you were a child, and you dreamed big. Think of all of those extraordinary ideas you have, and within you can discover your gifts and, thus, your purpose.
I’ve also learned to pray and seek God in all that I do so that I’m not leaning on my own understanding but giving Him full access to speak to me. It makes all the difference for me.

Happy Sunday and thanks for joining me for day 20 of Blogtober.

LOVE this! It’s reminder how we are charged to seek our gifts and develop them to fulfill our purpose.
Meditating on God’s word can bring so much peace.
Exactly! That’s exactly the space I’m in. Thanks for reading ❤️
