Ending 2017 and Reaching Your Goal(s)

Today is Monday, November 27, 2017. It’s the last Monday of November and just five weeks until the start of a new year. As we get older it seems as if the years continue to fly by. I mean, it seems like we were just bringing in 2017 and now here we are preparing for the end of year holiday celebrations.

With that in mind- if you were to assess your year, how did your 2017 go?
Have you achieved your 2017 goals? Why or why not?
What will you do in the next five weeks to achieve a goal or three before 2017 is over?
What are you going to do differently, as we approach 2018, to ensure you meet your goals and dreams for next year? When answering these questions it’s important, to be honest, but to give yourself the credit you deserve.
Below I’ve briefly answered these questions for myself.

If you were to assess your year, how did your 2017 go?
My 2017 has been more productive than I originally thought. I’ve restarted my website, my first book is almost done, I started my tenth year of teaching, and I’ve worked with and collaborated with more people than ever before. I also joined an awesome sister circle and look forward to all of our upcoming events and projects.

Have you achieved your 2017 goals? Why or why not?
NO! I have not. What I’m not going to do is dwell on this fact like I have in previous years. I’m going to work on a plan to ensure this time next year my answer is completely different.

What will you do in the next five weeks to achieve a goal or three before 2017 is over?
Set the goal(s), create a plan, and execute!

What are you going to do differently, as we approach 2018, to ensure you meet your goals and dreams for next year?
As Eric Thomas says- “It’s in the routine.”

You don’t have to feel like the year is a total bust. Lots of things can happen or change in five weeks. It’s up to you make the necessary changes to receive the outcomes you desire.
